Lifting Platforms Courses

The lifting platforms courses (Beginners Lifting Platforms, Beginners Plus Lifting Platforms, Refresher Lifting Platforms and Practical Extension Plus Lifting Platforms) have been developed to provide the relevant training level for the different operator profiles: without experience operating lifting platforms, without experience but with a keen interest in learning to operate up to 4 different types of lifting platform, with experience and the need to renovate the qualification or interested in expanding the knowledge and mastering special lifting platforms (great heights, on tracks, on truck or individual).

Lifting Platforms Training

All courses have some common objectives to ensure that the operator receives a complete basic training according to the standard UNE 58923-2020: understanding the range of lifting platforms and guaranteeing a safe and efficient use, preventing in a practical way the most common bad operational habits and mistakes and being aware of the intrinsic risks associated with the operation of this machinery if the safety rules are ignored. The matecoAcademy students will learn to operate the following platforms:

Beginners Lifting Platforms Course (according to standard) = Electric or Diesel Scissor Platform from 6 to 10 m and Electric or Diesel Articulated Platform from 11 to 12 m.

Beginners Plus Lifting Platforms Course (according to standard) = Electric or Diesel Scissor Platform of 6 to 10 m, Diesel Telescopic Platform of up to 22 m, Electric or Diesel Articulated Platform of more than 20 m and Tracked Platform of 14 m or On Truck up to 15 m.

Refresher Lifting Platforms Course (according to standard) = Electric or Diesel Scissor Platform from 6 to 10 m, Electric or Diesel Articulated Platform of more than 20 m, Platform on Track of 14 m or on Truck up to 15 m.

Practical Extension Plus Lifting Platforms Course (according to standard) = Diesel Telescopic Platform of up to 22 m or Electric or Diesel Articulated Platform of more than 20 m, Platform on Caterpillar of 14 m or On Truck up to 15 m and Single Person Platform of 9 m.

Mandatory lifting platform license

The courses of certified training in the use and operation of Lifting Platforms according to the UNE-58923 Standard and the Bureau Veritas Certificate are completed with a certificate of aptitude in the format of a lifting platform license and a diploma that confirms the ability to use and operate work platforms, valid in Spain and the rest of the European Community.

Additionally, the courses can be subsidized through the Tripartite Foundation.
